Thank you to everyone for being so understanding on Monday morning when we had to make that decision to close the school following the complete break-down of both our boilers. It was not a decision made lightly and I am sorry for any disruption it caused to your plans for the day. It did test out our emergency `bad weather` procedures and my thanks must go to our “parent contacts” for making themselves available to answer your calls. Now let us hope for a trouble-free winter!
Please, please, please keep your children CLOSE to you at ALL times when you are out in town – perhaps doing your Christmas shopping. There has been one attempted `snatch` from inside Woolworths, of a child from our school. Fortunately she was spotted by Mum and the incident ended safely, though understandably both Mum and daughter were shaken. A suspect has been apprehended by the Police.
Thank you for all your generous donations for the forthcoming Bingo and Christmas Fayre. It still isn’t too late to send in donations and we do still need more bottles, tins, etc. Any cakes, biscuits, etc (home made if possible) can be brought into the office next Friday or on the Saturday morning.
The Christmas Bingo is being held tomorrow, Friday 2 December. The doors will open at 6.30 pm with eyes down at 7.00 pm.
On Saturday 10 December the FCSA Christmas Fayre will be held in the School Hall at 2.00 pm.
